Ask any parent what they are looking for in an ideal childcare provider and the answer will be the same. A well-trained professional who loves children, can work flexible hours and fits into the family’s budget. Many families have discovered that this ideal childcare provider exists – in the form of a professional au pair.
PROaupair specialises in professional au pairs - highly experienced au pairs with degrees in childcare-related fields such as occupational and physical therapy, paediatric nursing, special needs education, and early childhood education and teaching. PROaupair is the only au pair agency with a focus on families with children with special needs.
Our highly personalised placement process helps to ensure that each host family finds the right au pair for their needs. Unlike most agencies, we hand-select our au pairs, meeting each one in person to ensure they meet our high standards for quality, professionalism and training. Our au pairs are like live-in nannies – with an international flair!
All of PROaupair’s professional au pairs are recruited directly through our network of European universities, vocational training schools, and hospitals – as well as through referrals from organisations like the German Red Cross. PROaupair’s professional au pairs are excited about the opportunity to live and work in Australia where they can gain international work experience in their career while also learning about the local culture.
Each of our programs includes up to 45 hours per week of live-in childcare from an English-speaking au pair. Program pricing is the same no matter how many children are in one family. PROaupair manages all the details – from visa sponsorship to insurance to support – and we even offer a “pay-as-you-go” payment option.
PROaupair understand that childcare requirements differ from family to family, which is why we have three professional childcare programs: Special Needs Childcare, Infant Childcare, and Childcare Ages 2+.
